In addition to the soft body armour, Armourshield manufactures a wide range of hard armour upgrade plates, to protect against high velocity rifle fire. To complete the ballistic package, protective helmets are available.

To meet the demands of modern warfare ballistic protective shields have been designed by Armourshield, both high and low velocity.

Fragmentation blankets of all sizes are available for personal/equipment with a new range of inner vehicle protection.

In 2004 Armourshield moved into a new facility enabling a substantially increased production capability.

The in house ballistic testing facility and laboratory includes a 15 metre ballistic range complete with video technology. A full time team including in house ballistician provides continuity of Research and Development and contract product testing to be carried out privately for end users. The test range ensures that Armourshield has the capability to meet the standards requested by the world's governments.

The HOSDB / NIJ knife and spike testing equipment allows for the full range of stab and spike testing, to all current standards.

The "Armourshield Advantage", patented Blunt Trauma Shield (BTS^TM) greatly reduces the shock energy to the body, medically proven.
